floristry lessons

FAQ

What level of ability are your courses aimed at?
My school covers all abilities, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced learners.

I enjoy flowers and would like to learn how to arrange them for my home. Which is the best course available to me?
This will depend on your previous experience. If you enrol as a beginner I would estimate that you would need to enrol on a 8 week consecutive programme for a full year. This course will enable you to learn the principles and elements of design in detail and will equip you with the skills and knowledge required, and will assist you to progress to a further level.

Should I wish to progress with my learning which course should I enrol on?
If you are an experienced flower arranger/florist perhaps an Intermediate or Advanced programme would be suitable for you.

How long are your courses?
I deliver 8 week programmes, 3 hour sessions, to include theory.

Do you provide handouts?
Handouts will be provided in some sessions.

I would like to learn how to do flowers for my wedding, which course could I enrol on?
If you are not experience in either flower arranging or floristry I would suggest you could enrol on a one day workshop and learn a couple of designs to contribute to your wedding day. I would leave the rest of your designs to a professional qualified florist/floral designer.
